About the 2026 Empowerment Conference
The Women of Color Empowerment Institute (WOCEI) proudly presents the 15th Annual Women of Color Empowerment Conference, taking place September 11–13, 2026, at the breathtaking Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

This year’s inspiring theme, “Made for This Moment: Purpose, Power & Progress,” celebrates the strength, resilience, and leadership of women who are shaping the future in every sector of society.

The conference weekend is thoughtfully designed to educate, inspire, and connect.
​
Friday, September 11 begins with dynamic conference programming starting at 4:00 PM, followed by an elegant evening networking reception at the host hotel. Attendees will build meaningful relationships in a relaxed and inspiring setting.

Saturday, September 12 is our signature day of programming, featuring nationally recognized keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions, interactive conversations, and transformational leadership sessions that you will not want to miss. Saturday evening will feature a Mermaid Gala in an elegant atmosphere next to Fort Lauderdale beach.

Sunday, September 13 concludes the conference with a memorable and delicious hot breakfast, jazz, drumming, yoga, swimming and so much more. This breakfast on Fort Lauderdale Beach is a time to reflect, celebrate new connections, and leave refreshed and inspired. Be sure to wear white.
